Handmade Wood Fired Japanese Fuurin Wind Chime with Beautiful Hand Painted Paper Tanzaku

This wind chime was formed on a pottery wheel with stoneware clay, left unglazed, and fired in a wood burning kiln to cone 10. The porcelain bead inside that makes noise was hand formed. The paper strip, or tanzaku, was hand cut and hand painted with watercolor. This chime makes a nice sound when the wind blows.

This wind chime is not intended for outdoor use because of the paper tanzaku, but the stoneware pieces are very durable.

The body of the windchime is 2.75" tall and 2.75" wide. The tanzaku is 6.5" long and 2" wide.

The porcelain bead inside that makes noise was hand formed. The paper strip, or tanzaku, was hand cut and hand painted with watercolor. This chime makes a very nice sound when it catches a breeze.

This wind chime is not intended for outdoor use because of the paper tanzaku, but the porcelain pieces are very durable.

The body of the wind chime is 3.25" tall and 3.75" wide. The tanzaku is 7" long and 2" wide.

These Jikatabi are fastened with traditional Japanese metal tabs called Kohase. There are three rows of stitching that allow for custom fitting to your leg.

If your legs are large and you think the boots might not be big enough to go around you can order the extensions which add about 5 cm. to the width.

Sizing is VERY IMPORTANT so please follow these instructions for measuring to make sure you are not disappointed with the wrong size.
The Jikatabi are measured in centimetres. There are many conversion charts around, but they are all different. So please measure carefully and don't guess. Then you won't have to exchange.

Stand up and have a friend trace your foot on a piece of paper. Then measure from the back middle of the heel to the tip of the largest toe. That is the length of your foot. For instance, if your feet are 10" long, that converts to about 25.5 cm. You need to ask for size 26 cm. boots. If your feet are a little over 26 cm. you need to take the 27 cm.

A free pair of Tall Tabi Socks in the same colour is included with your Tabi Boots. If possible we send one in the same dye lot, otherwise we send a similar colour or plain white or black.

Wedding Veil Mantilla White

A must have for a bride is a veil, it will create a soft canvas against the dress and frame your face with the beautiful detail that is in this mantilla veil. This mantilla veil was an inspiration after I saw a beautiful bridal dress and thought how much more beautiful it would look with the delicate look and romance of a long veil. I loved this veil so much I made one for myself to keep for my day, see first two pictures and just imagine how you would look with it on.

This lovely hand crochet collar I got from a family friend that was spring cleaning her area and I found this beautiful collar. This collar is easily worn by just buttoning the button. No Face-Hayao Miyazaki Spirited Away-Chain Necklace

This necklace was inspired by Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited away. The necklace has a plastic No Face pendant, and the gunmetal chains represent his fading aura. This is a really fun necklace that flows and is very light!

This necklace includes a chain which is about 18 inches long, and the pendant is hard plastic. It is much more durable than clay and won’t break unless something heavy is dropped on it, or it is purposely bent in half. It is finished with Min-Wax polycrylic to seal and protect it. This varathane finish has a UV protactant and keeps the figures from turning yellow over time. Although not 100% water proof, the varathane will protect your item from occasional water contact. I DO NOT recommend you wear your jewelry in water, but the finish will protect the item from accidental water such as rain, washing hands, forgetting it's on when you shower, etc...

Comet Mosaic Table

A brilliant comet soars through the night sky while the stars glow around it.

The mosaic is stained glass on top of a cement backer board and wood inlay. The table has been re-painted and has a protective satin finish.

It is hard to tell in these photos, but the stars are back-lit with LEDs which are powered by AA batteries (included) mounted underneath the table. A switch under the tail of the comet turns the stars on or off.

A robust hanging wire is mounted on the back, but this piece is quite heavy so you will need to secure it by screwing directly into a stud or using special hanging brackets that can be found at any hardware store. Hang indoors away from humidity, direct sun is okay.

Shark -- Glass Wall Art

This is my second shark mosaic. For this one I used stained glass almost exclusively, except for the eye which is a small black tile cut into a circle. The glass is mounted on upcycled wood with a grey cement grout. This is a Great White shark, one of the largest sharks in the sea.

Something about sharks interests me so they are a common subject in my artwork. I think that they can be really funny because of their mouths and jagged teeth, but this one is just swimming along under the waves as the light filters down from above.

The picture is all stained glass, but there is also a thin border around the piece of 3/8" glass tiles.

I create my works for people who can not imagine their life without the stylish and unique accessories. So I went up very carefully and slowly to the selection of the design for each product.

I very carefully choose a leather for each of my work to the future owner was satisfied with his purchase.

EACH PRODUCT CREATE BY ME ONLY ONCE! I did not make copies of my work!

All operations are performed by hand without the use of any machinery.
I only use safe and non-toxic materials that do not cause allergies. All paints, finishes and oils produced from natural materials with an water or alcoholic base. For firmware I use waxed thread that will last for many years.
