20" x 16" Kurt Cobain Portrait- Original Painting

Listing is for an original painting of the late Kurt Cobain.
During the time I painted this, I listened to mostly Nirvana songs.
I chose the blue background to give a Nevermind album feel to it.
Top left corner has his signature that I hand-painted, and the Nirvana smiley face logo, so that one can really tell it is Kurt Cobain.

size: 20" x 16" (1.5" depth)
(sides dark navy blue)
media: acrylics on wood panel
sealed with clear top coat
ready to hang.

12" x 16" Elliott Smith Portrait- Original Painting

Listing is for an original painting of the late Elliott Smith. I incorporated the album Figure 8 into the background- painted out Elliott Smith's name in the same cool font that is on the album cover.
During the entire time I painted this, I listened to Elliott Smith's songs on shuffle- which really set the environment for making this piece.
